Resetting your 2FA (Requires access to your current 2FA code)
If you would like to reset your 2FA for security reasons or add your 2FA to new device you can follow this method provided you have access to your Current 2FA.
Once logged in:
- Go to 'Account'
- Select 'Security'
- Click on 'Reset Two Factor Authentication'
- Then enter your current 2FA code to reset and follow the instructions below
There are a couple of steps to complete the setup
Step 1:Open the Google Authenticator App (or alternative two-step verification token service) on your mobile and either enter the secret below or scan the QR code.

*Your QR code will appear below your secret code.
Scan your new QR Code
Restore your 2FA (Using your Secret Code)
If you would like to restore access to your 2FA or add your 2FA to new device you can follow this method provided you have access to your Secret Code.
*The instructions below are for Google Authenticator App
In the Google Authenticator App, Select the + button from the top right to add a Manual Entry.
Account - Enter your CoinSpot email address
Key - Enter your secret code
Select the tick at the top right
This will add your token to your Authenticator on your new device or restore access to your original 2FA code.
Lost Access to 2FA
If you do not have your current 2FA code and did not record your secret code please contact CoinSpot support via Zendesk and our team will assist you to Reset your 2FA.
Change Mobile Number
If you need to change the mobile number linked to your CoinSpot account please send your request via Zendesk to our Support Team or contact us via LiveChat and we will assist you as soon as possible.
