Resetting your 2FA (Requires access to your current 2FA code)
If you have access to your current 2FA code, then you can simply reset the 2FA by following the below steps.
Once logged in:
- Go to 'Account'
- Select 'Security'
- Then enter your current 2FA code in the below field:
- Click on 'Reset Two Factor Authentication'
Restore your 2FA (Using your Manual Key)
This is an example of your Manual Key --> PBBXYXDXIXBXWXSXIX7XQXTXJXZXGX3X
If you would like to restore access to your 2FA or add your 2FA to new device you can follow this method provided you have access to your Manual Key.
*The instructions below are for the Google Authenticator App
In the Google Authenticator App, Select the + button from the top right to add a Manual Entry.
Account - Enter your CoinSpot email address
Key - Enter your Manual Key
Select the tick at the top right
This will add your token to your Authenticator on your new device or restore access to your original 2FA code.
Lost Access to 2FA and Manual Key
If you do not have your current 2FA code and did not record your secret code please contact CoinSpot support via Zendesk and our team will assist you to Reset your 2FA.
Change Mobile Number
If you need to change the mobile number linked to your CoinSpot account please send your request via Zendesk to our Support Team or contact us via LiveChat and we will assist you as soon as possible.
