Fake pages can appear from time to time. Scammers may phish your account details using these fake pages. The Anti-Phishing phrase allows customers to link a custom word or phrase of their choice to their CoinSpot account. With this unique phrase enabled, you are able to identify the real CoinSpot login page. If your Anti-Phishing Phrase does not appear on the login page do not proceed with logging into your account.To enable this feature, follow the instructions below.
Locating the Security Page
1. Once logged in, select My Account Menu(1) > Security(2).

2. Once on the Security page, locate the Anti-Phishing Phrase(1) tab > Then create your Anti-Phishing Phrase(2) > Enter in your App Based 2FA code(3) > Finally click on Save Anti-Phishing Phrase(4).

3. After entering your Anti-Phishing Phrase and Two Factor code, you will receive a confirmation screen as shown below. Confirmed with a Green Banner and your Phrase hidden.

4. On your next attempt to login, you will find your Anti-Phishing Phrase in a Blue Banner as shown below.

If you have enabled an Anti-Phishing Phrase which is NOT visible upon login, DO NOT proceed with logging in. Close the website browser and contact CoinSpot Support Team immediately.
Another good way to identify if you have pressed on a phishing link is to check the URL bar. Below we have provided users with two examples of what the URL address will look like before logging into the CoinSpot Website and during the 2FA stage.
