To enable Geo-Lock Logins on the CoinSpot Mobile App, you will need to have App Based 2FA enabled. If you do not have App Based 2FA enabled, please follow the instructions from our How to Set Up 2FA article.
Geo-Lock Logins prevent unauthorised international logins to CoinSpot accounts, we encourage users to have this enabled.
If users are planning on travelling overseas or leaving Australia permanently we would recommend to have this disabled.

Disabling Geo-Lock Logins

5. Enter your App Based 2FA token(1), you will need to switch to your 2FA Authenticator App to retrieve your token > Then tap on Confirm(2).
When switching between the CoinSpot Mobile App and 2FA Authenticator App, you will need to memorise your 2FA token, please also ensure that you leave adequate time to enter your 2FA token.

Disabling Geo-Lock Logins via Account Recovery
In the event you are unable to disable Geo-Lock Logins yourself as you are overseas, you are now able to request for Geo-Lock Logins to be disabled via our new self service area Account Recovery (Geo-Lock Disable).
Within this area you will need to submit an Authorisation Photo to have the self placed restrictions removed.
