Android device users are now able to link the CoinSpot Mastercard to Google Pay™! Linking your card to Google Pay will allow you to make quick and easy payments directly from your mobile device or smartwatch.
Before setting up Google Wallets, you must have Screen Lock or Biometrics enabled on your Android's system settings.
Prior to setting up your CoinSpot Card, please ensure you have Google Wallets App installed onto your mobile device. NFC and contactless payments must be enabled when making payments in-store.

Download Google Wallet
1. To link your CoinSpot Mastercard to Google Pay, you will need to have Google Wallet App installed. To download Google Wallet from the Google Play Store, please press here. Once that has been installed, open the Google Wallet App and follow the setup instructions.
How to link your card to Google Pay
1. Tap on 'My Account Menu '.

2. Tap on 'CoinSpot Card'.

3. On the CoinSpot Card page, select ‘ Set Up Google Pay’.
If you are not being re-directed to Google Wallets, please ensure the following:
- NFC & Contactless Payment is enabled (Search for NFC in your System Settings)
- Ensure Google Wallet is set up
- Restart your mobile device and try again
- If none of the solutions work, manually enter your card details into Google Wallets by viewing your full card details in 'Show Card Details'

4. You will be redirected to Google Pay - Add payment card. To begin, select ‘Add’.

5. Your personal information will be prefilled using the details in your CoinSpot account. If you notice any discrepancy with the prefilled information, please reach out to our Support Team to assist you with updating.
Next, review the Disclaimer, Terms of Service and Privacy Notice provided, once you have read and agreed, select ‘Continue’.

6. Google Pay will make a connection with the banking provider. The Issuer Terms will be presented, please read through the terms, once you have agreed, tap on ‘Accept’.

7. Your card details will be processed and be presented to the verification page.
Select your preferred verification method (SMS or Email)(1) > Then Select Continue(2).
The email address and mobile phone number will be the same as your CoinSpot account details, If you need to change your contact information, please reach out to us here.

8. Enter the 6 digit verification code(1) to verify the setup > Then tap on Continue(2).
⭑Optional: If you have not received the email or SMS verification code, select ‘Get another text’ or ‘Get another email’.

9. Congratulations, you have successfully set up your CoinSpot Mastercard on Google Wallet and can use this at any merchant that accepts Google Pay!

Set as default payment method
To make your CoinSpot Mastercard the default payment method, please follow the instructions below.
1. Go to the Google Wallet App on your Android device.

2. Locate and tap on your CoinSpot Mastercard.

3. Tap on ‘Details’.

4. Select ‘Make default for contactless’.

5. Congratulations, you have successfully set the CoinSpot Mastercard as your default contactless payment method!
If you want to change your default card payment method, simply switch to another card saved on Google Wallets and select Make default for contactless.
